These are a few tips you might want to keep in mind while exploring the ancient city with your Vespa:
- You are allowed to transit through "ZTL (Limited Traffic Zones) Gates", with the exception of the A1 Gates (like the "Medici Trident" in the very center of the city) wich are dedicated to electric vehicles. keep an eye out for that A1 symbol to avoid fines.
- Yellow lines often indicate dedicated BUS lanes or Taxi lanes, wich have cameras that automatically monitor them, and fines are issued automatically.
- Every street in the City has parking zones dedicated to motorcycles. You can easily park there. Avoid parking in corners, out of paring stripes and such, as fining is pretty common for these infractions.
- It is MANDATORY to wear the helmet all the time, while driving.
